We’re shining the spotlight on the lesser-focused-on and sometimes forgotten little brother of the hair world.

Mens hair just doesn’t get the same hype as women’s hair does, and we think they deserve a little sunshine in honour of today. So, without further ado, here are a curation of guys’ looks that give men’s hair a good name, suitable for any age:

MENS HAIR…

For The Younger Generation:

We are seeing a lot of what my mother could only describe as a ‘mop’. A very shaggy, grown-out look that has every young man having a fringe. Curtain bangs are no longer only exclusive to females.

For The Mids:

Timeless elegance usually follows through the Middle Ages. We are seeing a lot of structure in this age. A lot of the ‘skin fades’ aren’t appearing as much, but featuring a more tailored professional cut. We are definitely using a lot more scissors than razors in the salon!

For The ‘Aboves’:

We are all about the greys – ever since Derek first featured of Grey’s Anatomy, funnily enough. Grey hair on men is something that generally adds a lot of sex appeal as men get older – and we are seeing a lot of this in the media at the moment. Short, swoosh or long, we are all about the grey!

MENS HAIR…

On their face!

For The Younger Generation:

The clean cut looks best but we are seeing little moustaches appearing…but do we like it?

For The Mids:

Beards of all lengths are very in and have been for a while. They don’t seem to be going away any time soon.

For The ‘Aboves’:

Grey beards are a no no in our book. A bit of shadow can add to the swarthy appeal but keep that trimmed, please!
