Why are our prices starting guides?

Our Services page is the current guide to Absolute Hair’s services and prices. Your final appointment and quote may reflect:

• your stylist’s experience;
• your hair’s length, density, condition and colour history;
• the time and product required; and
• the combination of services needed.

Two people can save the same photograph and need different appointments. The right recommendation is not automatically the biggest one; it is the work most likely to give you a beautiful, manageable result that suits your real life.

Are you keeping your current shape or considering a change?

You may know that your hair needs cutting without knowing whether you need a trim to preserve the existing shape or more time for a restyle. A restyle gives us time to reconsider the length, balance, movement and how the cut works with your features and styling routine.

All Absolute Hair haircut prices include a wash, cut and blow-dry. If you already know the service you need, view the current cut and styling menu. If the change feels more significant, request an in-salon consultation so we can help you allow the right appointment time.

Do you know the colour you love, but not the colour service?

It is completely reasonable to know the look you want without knowing whether it requires a retouch, global colour, toner, face frame, foils or a combination. Those names describe techniques; your starting colour, previous colour, condition and desired finish determine the actual plan.

If you are keeping a familiar colour fresh, our current colour services and starting prices may be all you need. For a significant change, correction, grey transition or repair, the Detailed Colour Planning Consultation gives you and your stylist dedicated time to agree on a responsible plan.

Would your hair benefit from a treatment?

A professional treatment should be selected for what your hair or scalp needs. Dryness, weakness, colour history, scalp concerns and the way you want your hair to behave at home can all change the recommendation.

This is for a significant colour change, colour correction, grey transition, repair or another decision with several possible pathways. Sarah or Dayna will assess your starting point and colour history, then explain the realistic options, likely stages, ongoing care and investment. Please bring two or three inspiration photographs on your phone.
